EXPRESSIVE PHOTO CRITIQUE

MAN AT WORK
NOVEMBER 14, 2013

My expressive portrait project is a photo of me taken at Universal Studios. It shows me drilling the road in the busy city of New York City. Viewers will notice that I started off with a blend of pencil and ink sketch. I also styled it up by changing the dent of the color, posturing the picture and editing the font and style.

This picture is very personal to me because it demonstrates my passion for computer art design allowing  me the opportunity to explore various techniques. When one views the picture, they will probably view it as man hard at work. However to me I view it as a message telling me that if you want to achieve your goals, dig deeper than expected.

Personally I feel that the piece simply means to work hard in achieving your goals. I strongly feel that in life nothing is given to you freely, you have to work hard at it to earn  that respect. With that in mind, I can say that this piece tells viewers that I'm a studious student that has an ambition.

I feel that this photo is successful because it provides a vivid a description of every day life blending with society. It is also created neatly given the fact that the objects in the picture contribute to the theme.
